Spiritual Bath
Prepping the Bath
This bath is not intended to clean your body so begin by taking a regular cleansing bath or shower first.
Remove the herb sachet from your bath pouch. Place the entire herb sachet in a pot of hot water and allow to simmer for at least 20 minutes. Stir clockwise drawing in spirit. When your pot is sufficiently steeped, draw your bath water (make sure the temperature is comfortable).
Add all or part of the salt mixture to your bath water, stirring 3x counterclockwise asking the salts to help release negative, stagnant energy. Keep in mind your salt mixture does have a bit of loose calendula, be prepared for the end of your bath if you do not want them to drain through your pipes. Remove the herb pouch and add the herbal decoction to the bath. Stir 3x clockwise drawing in positive beneficial energy and calling in abundance.
Feel free to add in extra citrus fruits to represent solar energy and abundance. I often add some coconut oil and a few dropper fulls of a blessing oil to the bath as well, feel free to use your Manifestations Oil. Crystals are also always a welcome addition, just make sure they are safe to be in the water (your clear quartz is).
In the Bath
Give gratitude and step in the bath. Make sure to submerge as much of your body as possible. Dunk your head if that is comfortable. Relax into the holding.
Spend as much time as you like in the bath. Ask the salts to draw out all that is meant to be left behind in 2022. Thank the herbs for drawing in positivity, abundance, and blessing your spirit and body. Spend time speaking with the water, as the life giver and spirit cleanser. Whisper to her whatever is in your heart, knowing that she will help you receive and release all that you ask for. Ask her to connect you to the wells of creativity that are within you.
Tune in to your body. Listen for where there is holding and release with some deep breaths and long sighs. Give yourself an exploratory massage, holding yourself where your body calls you. And take a few moments to just bask in the intimacy, the quiet, the sweetness of the moment, the gift that you are giving yourself. Bask in the shifting of the energy within. And bask in gratitude for all that has happened for you this year, the difficult and easy moments.
When you are ready give final thanks to the four elements present in the bath and within self. Stand and allow the bath to fully drain visualizing the water taking with it all that has been released.
Compost or bury the herbs or throw them at a crossroads. Feel free to wait 24 hrs before showering to bask in the herbs, or rinse directly after. I like to air dry and dress in light colored clothing, which expands the energetic body.
Proceed with your rituals when you are ready.
